HaPpY DaNcE of GRATiTUDE!

Saturday July 26th was International Dance Day…
so I captured this pic of me in the rain dancing in my boots,
in the reflection of our  deck window!
The poster beside it is one that hangs in our family room…
seemed appropriate on the rainy dance day.

I was in a local store last week and because I love quotes and photos…
I snapped a pic of these little wall hangings… I liked the grateful
little messages in them both… and there were more too!…
"Be happy… Create the life you love"
"Always believe something wonderful is going to happen"

I was actually somewhat grateful for a rainy day last week to use up the brown
bananas on our counter and make some muffins!
Rainy days are really the only days in the summer when I feel like baking!!!

I was grateful for lots of time spent with the grandkids last week.
They go into their HAPPY DANCE when ever we get a chance to go
to the neighbourhood park, too!

Mariah went to the lake with a friend last week, so Beau felt left out!
We picked him up early on Wednesday from daycare for a little
backyard fun… and the next day he told his daycare lady
how much fun he had in Grandma's pool!!!!!! hehehe

Beau and Shuffle enjoyed watching some of our trees getting trimmed down
on wednesday, too… we had some trees taking over that needed to go!
I was grateful for the good work of Alan's Tree service, too!

Thursday our friend, Vern invited us for a lovely BBQ'd Salmon dinner
at his condo. We enjoyed the friendship and meal with him and Ella,
while watching
the crazy thunder storm from his window…
I was ever so grateful that didn't turn into a tornado!

Saturday we picked up the grandkids and enjoyed some impromptu fun…
Beau loved the park until he got up high and couldn't get down!!!

Mariah loves spending time with our dog, Shuffle, every time she comes here.
She is also getting so good at tricks on the monkey bars at the park, too…
The kids loved the day in the park.

Saturday night we met friend, Vern for a Dairy Queen treat…
and Jana and Mariah showed up there, too, and joined our little
impromptu DQ party!

Yesterday was a day filled with love and family bonding… at
my in laws when relatives, Gail and Alec and his friend, Rachel
 came to visit from Vancouver.
We have shared many family fun times in their lovely yard.

Lots of moments were captured while we shared moments, stories,
and fun times… and SO MUCH LOVE  there…
always fun to see the cousins connecting!

I am forever grateful for the wonderful care this woman gives to
my grandkids… Ceylyn has been Jana's care giver  for her kids
since Mariah was two… and the kids just love her and the
 warm loving care she provides.
This week she is on holidays… so Grammie D will kick in
and be the care giver when needed this week!

This week's  "Fine Lifestyles" magazine had this photo on page 57…
from the Sabex awards in the city.
the fellow in the middle of the photo, Kelly… is a former
student of mine and tomorrow will be teaching Mariah
in a little local dance camp…
I am going into my HAPPY DANCE of GRATiTUDE…
that the circle of DANCE continues!

Another Monday and time for a new blog post once again!
Last week I was tagged with a little gratitude challenge on  Facebook, from my good Lanigan buddy, Linda… and the most challenging part of that for me was narrowing my gratitude down to only 3 things a day for 5 days… as I am truly grateful for so many things in my life always!

With it being International Dance Day on the weekend…
it got me thinking of things in my life that revolve around DANCE…
I have lots to do a HAPPY DANCE for as well!

I do love to CAPTURE my life in photos and although many times the photos are not clear…

they do make the memories live on for me.

We did share lots of times with the grandkids last week and I was grateful for those and am always full of gratitude that they live in the city and we can see them lots while they are growing up…and they are growing up so fast…Mariah is 8, and next week Beau will be 4 already…
where did that time go????

I noticed on Facebook that a good friend from my childhood, Jay… became a grandma for her first time when her youngest daughter, Carly, gave birth to a little baby girl last week. Yesterday our good friend, Vern, became a grandpa for his 6th time to another grand daughter, too, born in Australia…. so he now has 5 grand daughters and one grandson!!!… Being grandparents is definitely a reason to go into a HAPPY DANCE of GRATITUDE for sure!

I am grateful I can spend so much time with family and friends…doing things I love most. I have sure enjoyed many impromptu gatherings and get togethers involving food, and fun… so it is so great I can work in time for a little gym as well to help balance that all out a bit! Food always tastes better in the summer it seems… and especially when eating out doors! Maybe something about the fresh air… makes our appetites kick in full force!… I do love a HAPPY HOUR in summer time on the deck here and there as well… sometimes making me go into a HAPPY DANCE, too!!!

Speaking of HAPPY DANCES… just on Saturday at the gym, the instructor invited me up on stage during my Body Vive class at the gym to guide the class through the old 70's classic, THE HUSTLE… which Brian and I had played at our wedding back in 1976… in honour of International Dance Day, she thought it might be fun for me…

Theresa once was a dance student of mine… and now she is my gym instructor… and the circle of DANCE continues!

I want to mention just how grateful I am for daily good health… I really do not like to take things like that for granted… but I am sure glad we have had such good health around here this summer.

Today we hope to get together with friends and or family once again and just celebrate the good weather we are having here… tomorrow my babysitting will start for the week… and Mariah will begin her dance camp… I think I am more excited than her for that, but I know she will love it!

My dog keeps bringing shoes from our front closet to me… I think she is trying to give me the hint she is ready for her daily walk!!!!! I am grateful for Shuffle and our daily walks, too!!! hehehe

I talked to my brother, Brian who recently moved out of town and he sounds so happy in his new place… one day soon I will have to go check his new pad out… he loves it… always nice to hear him in a happy mood!

Tomorrow my cousin, Bev and her hubby, Bob

will celebrate  their 14th wedding anniversary…
and so I wish them a good one and many more!
I am looking forward to a sister-in-law birthday outing tomorrow night as well in honour of my sister-in-law, Bev, who celebrated her birthday on the 24th…. always something to celebrate… and I'm grateful for CELEBRATIONS always!

On that note… I hope everyone has a day that fills them with gratitude and causes them some kind of Happy dance  …
life is short we might as well DANCE and be GRATEFUL!

I say this a lot, life's about attitude,
I like to focus on life with gratitude.
Whether it's with family… or with friends,
Being grateful just all depends…
On all the little special things…
That this life just always brings!
Spending time with the ones we love,
Under the skies from up above,
Enjoying all the food we eat…
Dancing with our heart and feet,
Life has lots to be grateful for,
So many things to love and adore.
Once again it's all in our mood,
It's all about our attitude,
Making the most of our very best…
Dancing through life with love and zest!

LiFE in my own BACKYARD!

"I don't have to take a trip around the world or be in a yacht in the Mediterranean to have happiness. I can find it in the little things, like looking into my backyard."
-Queen Latifah

"To lead a life in which we are inspired and can inspire others, our hearts have to be alive; they have to be filled with passion and enthusiasm."
-Senora Roy

"Make TODAY so beautiful that your YESTERDAY is something you will smile about TOMORROW."
-Author Unknown

Whether it's a happy hour... a coffee break, a meal or a snack…
it all tastes better in my own backyard!

We love to sit and relax on the deck and just enjoy the life
in our own backyard!

A week ago we had a couple sleepovers with the grandkids!
Beau was cute in his snowman jammies… out on the deck with
Shuffle!!! We had some fun indoors, too… I love how Mariah
is smiling with the flowers in our kitchen!

The kids not only enjoyed the swings in our backyard, but
they had fun at the park, too… they are definitely full of LIFE always!

The kids always love a snack in the car… here is Mariah with a popsicle,
and Beau eating a freezie!

From one icy snack to another!!!
The kids love to go for ice-cream at Marble Slab… they definitely
FIND their HAPPINESS WITHIN there!!!
Beau had marshmallows and gummy bears on top and Mariah added
sprinkles to her ice cream!

Mariah suggested a little "BROWSE" at the Giggle Factory toy store…
and Beau knew his grandpa would have money!
Grandpa spoiled the kids and bought each a little play mobile set and then
helped them assemble them after, too!
That Grandpa… sure knows how to spoil his grandkids!!!

When we were not in the backyard… we were having fun inside…
snacking while watching TV favourites… or playing or making
rainbow loom bracelets!

Last week our friend, Vern joined us for a yummy steak BBQ supper
in our backyard!… Brian and him enjoyed their meal and their visit together.

Last Thursday i enjoyed a nice visit and get together with cousins,
Gwen and Bev… and sister-in-law, Arleen.
We enjoyed some lemonade and fruit out in the sunshine on our deck.

Saturday we invited our next door neighbours, Cheryl and Floyd over
for a BBQ supper on our deck…

Sunday morning we went for our traditional
Fuddrucker's breakfast, with friends…
Bob & Jacquie… Ella and Robin.
We never know who might stop by to join the fun…
Friend, Ross, also stopped by on Sunday, too!

Monday morning I got a call at 8 AM
wondering if Mariah could come to Tap with her Grandma!
We shared a fun session in our basement then went out to the back yard
for some sunshine and snacks!
I love that we share the common interest of dancing… it is pretty
special to share that kind of bond.

Mariah and I took shuffle for a little walk in the park…
and even needed a little stretch
along the way!
Mariah is a real dog lover… and is so good with our dog, Shuffle.

Yesterday afternoon we shared a little impromptu
happy hour on our deck with friends, Vern and Ella.
Brian cooked up the delicious pie from the strawberry ranch…
it was yummy but very runny… it was a combo of
strawberry and rhubarb… pretty darn tasty…
and especially from our backyard deck!

Another week of fun activities have gone by since my last blog post and as you can see from above… I have taken many more photos too since my last blog.
I feel like life is never dull around here…and truly we often spend most of our time in our own backyard.

We were fortunate to have a couple of sleepovers with the grandkids last week. We do tend to spoil them when they are here, so no wonder they enjoy coming!!! hehehe
I feel so very lucky they live in the city and we can bond with them often. In a week or so they will go see their other grandparents in Edmonton…and I know they are all looking forward to that as well.

We pretty much do many of the things we do on an impromptu basis… which is the most fun. Not lots of planning ahead, just take things as they happen and unfold.

Summer in Saskatchewan is so short, so we really need to enjoy it as it happens. We took some time to reorganize our little shed out in the yard…and found many things in it we don't get around to using much. One of those is the little pool we put up for the kids a couple summers ago. It seems the time goes so fast and before we know it the fall sets in again… so not sure we will get the pool assembled this summer, I know we didn't last summer, either!
I was happy to get the shed cleaned out though.

In between all the times we have spent with family and friends on the deck in our backyard… (mostly eating and or drinking beverages of many kinds!!!)… I am so grateful that I can get to the gym for occasional workouts here and there. I think GOODLIFE gym has such awesome classes and instructors, too and I am extra lucky because I attend with my good buddy, Ella… so it makes the classes even more fun to attend. I do need the balance of the exercise to offset all my consumption this summer… but summer food is always yummier it seems!

Next week Mariah is going to a little local dance camp for a couple of days…and I think I am the most excited for it. Maybe because Mariah will attend with a daughter of a former dance student of mine…and two of the teachers at the camp are dancers I once taught, too! I think it will be so much fun for Mariah and she does love to dance!

She is lucky little girl… she is currently at the lake with a friend… and will soon go visit her other grandparents… then go to the lake with her parents, followed by another week of camp with another little girlfriend!… Ah Summer time life!

Today Beau wanted to spend some more time with us, so we will get him early from his daycare…and he will come and hang out in our backyard for some more fun adventures here! He is really into a few kiddie shows on TV now… he loves "Peppa Pig", "Bubble Guppies" and "Max and Ruby"… Mariah watched lots of "iCarly" last week on TV, too… along with creating many rainbow loom bracelets!

I know I missed mentioning Mariah and Beau's other Grandpa's birthday… he celebrated last week…
Happy Belated GRANDPA ARVID!

Yesterday, my nephew Jeff's wife, Savannah celebrated a birthday… Tomorrow my sister-in-law, BEV will celebrate a birthday… and next week my cousin Bev and her husband Bob will celebrate an anniversary on the 29th… so wishing them a happy one in advance.
There is always something to celebrate…I just love to celebrate LIFE in general… always!

Last night I was happy to hear from my son in Montreal…
couldn't believe the parcel we shipped on Monday to him and Caro arrived already on tuesday… but glad it got there safe and sound. They are sounding good there… it was our first phone visit since our trip to Montreal at the beginning of the month.

Well on that note… here is my rhyme of the day…

Life is what you make it… I know that this is true…
It all depends on how time's spent,
and what you choose to do.
Life is simply better with a happy attitude,
And it is also better when it's lived with gratitude.
It surely is much better when the sun is shining bright,
Life really feels much warmer and also feels just right.
I truly love my own backyard as much as anywhere,
I love the life that I can live by hanging out… out there!

REASONS to CELEBRATE and DREAM!

"Let everyday be a dream you can touch. Let everyday be a love you can feel. Let everyday be a reason to live because life is beautiful."
-Aldyna Therese

"The more you praise and celebrate life, the more there is in life  to celebrate."
- Oprah Winfrey

"Everything happens for a reason."
-Nishan Panwar

Here is Shuffle yesterday getting a head start on her Birthday Celebration!

Last Wednesday I had a fun visit from friends,
Ella and Gailene and my grandkids!
Gailene taught us how to turn a scarf into a vest…
and we checked out
our Montreal photos, too!

Wednesday night we were invited to our friends'… Tom and Lori's acreage…
for a delicious meal and an evening of fun and friendship.
Their dog, Cooper, was so relaxed and friendly
and into the celebrations, as well.

Thursday I went to the annual 2nd Ave. Sidewalk sale with my friend,
Ella…and we ran into Brian at my daughter's store…
SWANK SHOE LOUNGE!

I stayed hydrated throughout the day… with a great healthy drink
called THRIVE… and later had a happy hour with some BLUSH!
I went from THRIVING to BLUSHING!!!

Last week was filled with many celebrations from years gone by…
From my brother, Bob 's Wedding 42 years ago… to my engagement
38 years ago… to my Grandpa's 100th birthday in 1991…
Also there were my Cousin Darcy's wedding 44 years ago,
and my nephew, Brad's wedding 4 years ago…
so many REASONS to CELEBRATE!

Saturday my sister-in-law, Bev took Mariah to the dog adoption again.
My nephew, Sam went to volunteer there this past week as well…
it is like a fun celebration for Mariah who one day has dreams of having
a dog of her own!

Brian and I went to Red Lobster on Saturday to celebrate 38 years after
our date of engagement… I turn every thing into a reason to celebrate!!!
We had the ultimate feast to share… so yummy!

Sunday's group at Fuddrucker's for breakfast was a fun one as well!
Every sunday morning is like a celebration of sorts with who ever shows up…
this week… we had Brenda and her hubby, Vern…
Jacquie and Bob, our friend, Ella, as well as friends, Joyce and John.

Sunday we stopped by Blanche and Greg's…
and Greg was proud to show us
his new flower garden… then we stopped by Jana and Nels's…
and took their kids
to the Western Development Museum.

Celebrating the history at Pionerra days at WDM…
We saw our friend, Steve there… and
we ran into cousin Gwen and her niece, Elaine there as well!

Ice cream at DQ with the grandkids on Sunday and a supper
at their house after.

Monday… a fun filled day of adventures from Starbucks
to shopping to happy hour…
and BBQ on our deck… with my friend, Linda.

Monday's BBQ included a visit with with Linda's Hubby, Dennis too…
Shuffle ate lots of table scraps and felt a big part of the celebration
as well!!!

Today Brian and I stopped by Jana's shoe store for a brief
visit and I snapped a few pics of our beautiful daughter while there!

Today we were collecting more AWESOME MOMENTS in our
own back yard while sharing a little snack in the sunshine…
after a trip to costco!

Today we celebrate SHUFFLE… and she enjoyed every minute of her special
6th Birthday Celebration!

Hard to believe another week has passed since my last blog post… and one filled with many REASONS to CELEBRATE!
This was a week of many celebrations in our lives from the past as well as the present.

I pretty much take every chance I can to turn life into a celebration … whether it is a birthday, anniversary or just another day to make dreams come true.

In September of 2008 we got our doggie, Shuffle and it was told to us that she was born in July… but due to the fact we never really had an exact date… we celebrate her birthday on the 15th each year!… So today Shuffle is 6… and she is a doggie well worth celebrating!

Last year on this date we began a big journey as well…and today we are celebrating good health on a sunshiny day.
Really there are so many reasons to celebrate life in general…and so that is how I live my life!

I also try to capture the moments along the way with many photos. I do miss a few though… in addition to the many shown above… I did meet up with my cousin Gwen for a starbucks last week…and met with neighbour, Heather on her deck… and  we had nice visits.

I try to get to the gym to balance all my eating and happy hours along with starbucks visits… so I do enjoy those classes when ever I get there as well. Goodlife gym is really partially responsible for my good life and how well I feel always… so thanks to the great instructors there.

My photos have pretty much captured what I have been up to this past week… and mostly it revolves around many reasons to celebrate life!

I say this often but will say it again… my family and friends are the very best… and I am ever grateful for each and every one where ever they are… and even ones far away or in heaven are with me in spirit always.

There is always a reason to celebrate… so on that note… here is my rhyme of the day…

Every day is one to celebrate…
So much to do to make it feel great.
Summer sunshine is truly the best,
Friends and family… oh I am so blessed!

Summertime… and the living is JAZZY!

"Summertime and the living is easy…"
-George Gershwin

"In summer, the song sings itself."
-William Carlos Williams

"Jazz does not belong to one race or culture, but it is a gift that America has given to the world."
-Ahmad Alaadeen

A cute picture Jana texted to us while we were in Montreal
my grandkids by the ice cream bus downtown Saskatoon
by where our jazz festival takes place… year after year!

Mariah and Beau after Mariah graduated from grade two…
at their great grandparents by their lovely flowers, with my father in law, Greg.
and purchasing new fish at pet land.

Jazz festing in Saskatoon the week before Montreal…
here with my buddy Ella at two different free venues…
we went several times and enjoyed music together!

Our dear friend, Robin popped by before we left
 for Montreal for a visit
on our deck!

Our talented 14 year old niece… Rowen,
showing a piece of art from school she did,
She and her mom popped by for a visit the night before our trip.

Our trip was filled with lots of fun stuff…
here are a few pics of Brian and me together
in front of our Hotel Ambrose, at a restaurant, out for happy hour at The Hyatt,
and an evening in old Montreal…
we had many different photos together, lots of selfless, too!

I took in lots of JAZZ at the famous Montreal Jazz Festival…
one of the biggest ones of it's kind in the world.
Their's had a free concert by Diana Krall even… among many other
free concerts for it's duration from June 26th-July 6th 2014.
Their emblem of JAZZ CATS were seen every where in Montreal!

Brian and I did a few visits to the famous Old Montreal area…
so fun and full of life and colour ... along with historic scenery and buildings.

The day of the free Diana Krall free concert … I got a few fun photos,
Hard to get a clear one of Diana herself… but there is a great youtube article
on her with some of her performances.
Note the tall beer server in the crowd… his shirt said 7'1" on the back
he really stood out in the crowd… I thought he was wearing stilts at first,
but he wasn't!

We were able to capture many nice photos of my son, Colin and his girlfriend, Caro…
But Colin prefers to not have his face showing up on the internet, so I can't share those ones here!
I did put the one of him and Caro walking from behind in their area of Montreal.
The one with Brian, Caro and me is in Colin's back patio…
the others are in scenic areas near by!

While in Montreal we met with my sister-in-law, Gail on Canada Day for a nice supper…
(she was there from Vancouver, for a work conference)
We met up with Nels's sister, Ingrid, and her boyfriend for drinks one night…
and also met up with Colin's friends…
Shani, his wife (also named Caro)…
and their adorable son, Sidney.

Clowning around in Old Montreal … they were out everywhere in fun costumes!
I do love a clown!

Something else I love is CHOCOLATE!
Here we are at a place called the Chocolatier…
our two desserts were 17.00 total… pricey but so yummy!

We ate out in many restaurants and places and tried lots of foods…
but our best meals were at Colin and Caros'…
they are such good cooks… meals at their place
 are in lower left hand
of this "collauge!"

Lots to see and do in Montreal… beautiful churches, paintings,
and good company, too…
Here is Caro with her sweet cat, Filou!

From Montreal to home again…
After leaving our hotel on Stanley and Sherbrooke...
We had a lunch with Colin and Caro in Old Montreal before
returning home again… and last night had Jana, Nels and kids over for
a BBQ supper. Mariah loves hanging with Shuffle…
and look… Beau learned to ride a bike!

We picked up Shuffle from the daycare when we got home…
and the little sign they had up in their office said "Home is Where your Dog is!"
Shuffle was as happy to see us as we to see her…
and she is loving her
home turf again!

Yesterday we picked up Mariah from her mom's store where she is reading in photo…
and brought her to hang out with us for the afternoon…
she is growing up so fast… reading
...and playing scrabble now, above
with her grandpa and me!

Beau seems to have grown up in the week we were gone as well…
and riding a two wheeler already at the age of 3!
Last night he was enjoying some watermelon on his mommy's knee…
such a little cutie!

Last night the grandkids enjoyed playing on the swings in our yard…
it's been a while since they have done that…
I sure missed my little swingers, while we were away!

This is an adorable photo Jana texted to us while we were in Montrel
to let us know the kids were missing us, too!
I may be biassed… but I think they are pretty darn cute…
right down to their candy necklaces.
They are so precious to us and they help JAZZ up our lives
all year round!

Once again thanks for popping by to read my blog...I believe this is my longest lapse between blog posts, which is the reason for so many photos this time!

We have enjoyed our summer so far from our Saskatoon Jazz Festival to the bigger one in Montreal last week, too…
Summer time and the living is JAZZY!

We did enjoy our trip to Montreal and as you may or may not know… I do enjoy taking photos… but take so many it is hard to narrow it down to just a few… so this is only a handful of the many I have taken since my last blog entry.

We had such a nice time visiting my son, Colin and his girlfriend, Caro, while there, too. In fact our very best meals were ones they cooked for us while there. I did miss our Yahtzee… or YUM as they call it in Montreal… last year we played many games … this year no games were played, which left more time to just visit!

I did more JAZZIN' it UP then ever before in Montreal. Brian didn't come to much of it… but I went on my own…and also met some new "SOUL" mates in Montreal while festing!

Brian enjoyed going to places he likes to see and just simply enjoyed people watching while I was out Jazz Festing!… so whether we were together or doing our own thing
we both had fun!

I mentioned above the free Diana Krall concert… but I saw many free concerts of many great artists, both ones I had heard of as well as some new ones. I had really wanted to see the concert featuring the band dating back 42 years… named "EARTH, WIND & FIRE"… I don't really consider them a jazz band… but they have always been a favourite dance/soul type band for me. We had checked the Jazz website before travelling to Montreal to find their concert was sold out. However I checked on the day of the concert and luckily so... for tickets became available hours before the show. They apparently save tickets for special dignitaries and family of band, etc…and release them when they know they will not get used… so I ended up getting the best seats in the house by just being in

the right place at the right time!!!
I also met a new jazz buddy named Pat there, too. She not only sat beside me at the "E, W, & F" concert… but we Jazzed it up all night together and met another night there as well!… Fun… another new jazz buddy for me!

My love of Jazz music originates from my parents. They instilled it in me, and we shared so many Jazz festivals together when they were still alive. I felt their presence on so many occasions at the festivals in both Saskatoon as well as Montreal… it was like they were right there enjoying it with me, at times. I heard many tunes that remind me of them, too, including their favourite, "Satin Doll!"

It is funny that my kids and hubby don't really have the same passion for jazz music… but we all have different interests and tastes in music I guess! Jana and Nels did attend a concert at our Jazz festival… but it wasn't Jazz… they went to Lauren Hill and really enjoyed it!

I think the jazz festivals are becoming more and more diverse in their genres of music these days… they are quite a bit more of a MUSIC festival! I did hear many kinds of Jazz though and I loved it all!

I think being right there to whiteness it "live"
is the best part…
and fun to people watch, too!

I think it is fun to get away … but I am such a home body that it is so nice to return home again after the holiday is done. We were happy to have our good friends, Ella and Vern pick us up at the airport. We were also grateful to have our neighbour, Heather taking in our mail and watering our plants, along with our nephew, Sam,

mowing our lawns while away.

It is always fun to reconnect to our family and share all our good times with them when we get home, too.
I went to the gym again this morning and even that felt good, too… although I did get lots of exercise while in Montreal by walking a lot in their very hot humid weather.

I thought of my mom on her birthday in Heaven on June 29th. I did some jazz and had some ice cream and chocolate in her honour, too! I thought of my Auntie Mary last week too as she celebrated her birthday on July 4th.

We celebrated Canada Day in Montreal… we attended a parade for that there. There were many other eventful things going on while we were there. Another funny thing that happened... on our second last day there… we were out eating at our favourite little salad bar called Mangia…on their patio, when about 50 nudist bikers drove by… I did get some pics… but chose not to share those ones!!! wink wink!

Today I am remembering this date 42 years ago when I was a bridesmaid at my oldest brother's wedding.
So I want to wish BOB and ARLEEN a "Happy Anniversary" today… and hope they have many more years of

wedded bliss to come!

On that note… here is my rhyme of the day…

Another blog… another rhyme…
All about JAZZING in the summer time!
So many bands and singers, too,
Lots to see… and hear … and do!
Travel is always a lot of fun,
I love coming home, when it's all done.
Family and friends... we have quite a few,
I have even more now, I met new ones, too!
I love JAZZ FEST… I love it when it's hot,
I love all the sunshine that we got.
I wish summer time could really last,
But every year it just goes so fast.
I live in the moment and enjoy what's great,
This summer has been really fun to date.
My home, my family and all of my friends…
I love my life… and all of it's blends!
