TaPpY NeW YeAr... 2011

OK... here goes...
I thought this might be a fun project for me to take on for the new year upon us!
Welcome to the new year 2011...and welcome to TAP into Simple!

Let me just fill you in a bit!
I like to write about this that and the other, so thought a blog might be a fun place to try that out.

Here is the poem I sent out with my Christmas letter 2010 reflecting on the milestones and memories of that year... ENJOY!

With the loss of my dear mom this year,
And the birth of Beau, to bring us cheer...
The circle of life goes round and round,
With Angels above,as well as on the ground!
This year we witnessed life new and old,
And celebrated lots with diamonds and gold!
From wedding bells to engagement rings,
and all the joys of so many things!
Milestone birthdays... oh there were many,
They shone as bright as a brand new penny!
Lots of them ending in zero or five,
All very festive, cheery and alive!
Lots of firsts for our dear ones, too!
Ballet recital when the dance year was through.
The grandmas were handy for the first day of TAP...
To cheer on Mariah and give her a clap!
First day of preschool, always so fun...
Especially when you are a sweet little one!
From Easter Bunnies to Valentine hearts,
To Halloween costumes with chocolatey parts!
We had many a memory to cherish for sure...
So many it seems, that some now are a blur!
But this much I know... I am lucky and blessed,
Friends and family like mine are truly the best!
So much was done from January to December,
Two thousand and ten was a year to remember!
Of the seasons we go through all of the year,
It's the Christmas season that brings out good cheer.
But if we keep the warmth in our hearts all year long,
Our day to day life will be just like a song!
As we continue to go above and beyond...
By cherishing the memories that we all hold so fond!
