Well today was a HAPPY and USEFUL day for me... so I guess LIFE is good!
I had Beau and Mariah for a sleepover last night. Their daddy had to go out of town to work and their mommy arrived late from her shoe buying trip to Montreal... so babysitting was both happy and useful!
Today was the beginning of the year of the 'rabbit' in the Chinese New Year... and although I have no rabbits, I felt like I had energizer 'bunnies' here in Mariah and Shuffle racing around while Beau jolly jumped.
After the little darlings went home with their mommy, I took Shuffle for her first long walk of the winter! I had my ipod on and it is funny how the random shuffle of songs always seems to play a soundtrack to life and what seems to be going on in my life right now. The very first song to play on my walk was "Turn Around" off the Rosemary Clooney "Mothers and Daughters" album. It was a reminder of just how fast time is going by. "S'Wonderful" by Rod Stewart was next, and such great happy upbeat words to this one! Followed by "Sonshine" by Take 6... and it was so sunny out today, the words were speaking of what the sun can do! It is great how the songs in my ipod are so awesome to pass the walk by, and before I knew it, Shuffle and I had enjoyed the Sunshine and walk for nearly 40 minutes! Many more mixes of songs and words played in my ears on the way, and I felt happy that we both got exercise as well as fresh air on this so welcomed nicer winter day after the deep freeze we have been living in lately.
Tomorrow are TAP EXAMS at the BSOBAD studio and coincidently it is Miss Cara's milestone 30th birthday tomorrow, too. So I did up a HEART theme for the tappers taking exams and a Birthday card for their teacher Cara, too. I hope they are all able to TAP into their passion and put their HEART into it tomorrow.
We joined Jana, Mariah and Beau for supper at Boston Pizza tonight. Mariah loves the
"BUGS'n Cheese" there, which is just bug shaped noodles. It is her favorite. She was excited to show us her snowman she made with her mommy today, so we drove by their house after to see that.

Life is what you make it, that is for sure!
But it helps when it is nice out,
Sunshine is a cure.
Music makes me happy
especially on a walk.
Unless there's one to walk with,
who likes to chat and talk!
